Topic work - Autumn

With a grown-up, go on an autumn walk. Look closely at the trees. What do you notice? What colours can you see? Can you take some photos of the interesting things you see?

Collect some things that you find on the floor. You could look for different coloured leaves, conkers, acorns, pine cones and more.

When you get home, have a look at what you have found. Can you draw a picture of them using the correct colours?

If you have some wax crayons you could also try leaf rubbing! Just turn a leaf face down on a hard surface, put a piece of paper on it and rub the side of a crayon over it. Can you see the patterns in the leaf?
